SHAPE NOTES THEN AND NOW:
the culminating event of Singing in the Valley: A Shape-Note Festival, this program of choral, instrumental, and organ music based on hymns from the shape-note singing tradition will feature combined area choirs and instrumentalists, including conductor Lori Horne Pendleton, organist Dan Miller, and others.

This elite vocal ensemble, from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, VA, is directed by noted composer and Assistant Professor of Music Dr. Ryan Keebaugh.
