The Atlantic Reed Consort

The quintet, comprised of all reed instruments (oboe, clarinet, bassoon, bass clarinet, and saxophone), embraces the experimental as well as the classics. Their cutting edge style embraces the contemporary while adding a new twist to standard favorites. The ensemble includes local resident John Romano, bass clarinet.

James Gann, baritone

A music educator from Maryville, TN, James is a graduate student at Shenandoah University and worships at First Baptist Church in the summer while attending classes. He will present a recital of classic sacred and secular vocal music, accompanied by Dan Miller.

All programs are free, donations are appreciated. Childcare is provided, and a reception will be held in the Narthex following each concert.
